The "I hate people" rant @ 05:42 pm

current location: Misanthrope World
my humor: vexed
the sounds of: Amanda Abizaid - Place in time

Earlier today, I had to go through something irritating and cumbering, and while it certainly wasn't the first time I've had to say "no," it's becoming increasingly ridiculous on how pestilent some people can get.

The Rant )

Granted I'm currently as pleasant as a flyblown donkey from having just woke up in low blood pressure demon mode and finding myself in the crossfire of a petty argument between my parents, but my points are still fucking valid in that I hate people of epic fail and I don't want to be liked by people I loathe.

"Blighty - noun; British Slang: England as home" @ 03:36 pm

current location: baking in a building
my humor: curious
the sounds of: Moi dix Mois - Metaphysical

Because something interesting here caught my attention at [info]code_geass. Largely in response to the generalisation the poster made. It's also a wonderful opportunity for me to learn about another culture and understand an imaginary world at the same time~

Not once do you hear the characters say "bloody," "bugger," "Blighty," or "zed."
Click for a teenage-Americanised discourse. )

Everything aside, I'll enjoy the second installment of fiction as what it is: fictionscreens ladened with fanservice catering to the otaku girl and boy.

Also in other news, it is annoyingly hot. 97F/36C is not my thing when it's just April.

*Addendum @ 17:37: In the light of my own sleuthing, I find that the information provided by [info]zerorevenge is also found at the Wikipedia page. Draw your own opinions, fellow readers. :P

2006: School's Sundries @ 10:16 pm

my humor: blank
the sounds of: Gackt - December Love Song (Mandarin)

In the beginning...there was. )

"I came expecting something better: I left disappointed."
-George Aguilar, '07
I love this man. 'Nuff said.

'You guys are going to have to pick up the slack 'cause honestly, when we leave, the school is going to be in a lot of trouble. Possibly even under government jurisdiction after you graduate.' )

"Our football team had only a little bit of people last year."
"And that's why we lost."
"But this year our football team has a lot of people."
"And that's why we lost."
Take for example, homecoming games from neighboring high schools: Many picked our football team as the visitors because, you guessed it, the game would be an easy victory for the former folks. Quite true for most games since I heard that there was a 44-0 score.

Already, this new fiscal year is fast approaching the 50-yard line. )

Oh, no, I don't think I'm finished yet. I'll wager a part deux shall be up some time tomorrow.

Have the piano track from Devil May Cry 3.

We're one more person closer to purgatory @ 09:03 pm

This morning, I was listening to KMozart while on my way to school. Rich Capperela was making a few comments on a recent 'milestone' achieved by the U.S. - that is, we breached the 300 million population mark today. And that chances were, the 300 millionth person was born in this state. Congrats to the parents (or parent as it is in oh so many cases).

Except others aren't as celebratory.

Not quite thinking; not quite understanding; not quite anything. )

Maybe I'm being unfair. Or is it ignorance and such? Go figure.
